Boasting a beach that’s over a mile long, the village of Holywell Bay is the ideal holiday destination for those who love spending time at the seaside. Popular with surfers and swimmers, the vast expanse of golden sand has a large dune system to explore and many rock-pools to play in. If you’re lucky, you may even see some bottle-nose dolphins not too far from the shore!

The actual village of Holywell Bay is home to a leisure park where the kids can have fun go-karting, as well as an 18 hole golf course. There are also a number of pubs and restaurants offering up a selection of the delicious local seafood dishes. If you wish to explore the wider area, the larger towns of Newquay and Padstow are only a short drive away, while a number of other popular Cornish villages such as Perranporth and St Agnes are also on your doorstep.
