Holidaying in Hampshire can offer anything from staying in the New Forest near ponies and wildlife, or self-catering in an apartment in Winchester. Whether you want a relaxing break away, or a busy and exciting weekend, Hampshire can offer both.

The historic city of Winchester is a great place to stay for a city break. Winchester Cathedral is one of the main attractions. At Christmas time, an ice skating rink and market stalls, are positioned outside the Cathedral.

For a break from the hustle and bustle of a city, you can visit the New Forest. There are plenty of holiday cottages and self-catering apartments in this area. New Forest ponies are a big attraction, as well as pretty villages such as Lymington and Brockenhurst. Lymington’s high street follows a path down to the marina, where you can buy fresh fish to cook once back in your holiday cottage. Brockenhurst village is a lovely place to sit in one of the cafe’s or teashops and have a cream tea.
