Robin Hood
Famously known for robbing the rich to feed the poor, Robin Hood’s stories have been retold down through generations making Nottingham forever associated with the hero. Celebrating his outlaw ways, The Robin Hood Festival is hosted every year at the setting of Sherwood Forest from 3-9th of August. Live the legend on the Robin Hood Town Tour (joined by the real Robin Hood!) or explore the Church in which Robin Hood and Maid Marian supposedly got married.

Nottinghamshire is home to some of the best shopping in the UK including independent boutiques for those items not available in the high street stores. Venturing into the centre of Nottinghamshire will present you with an array of choice when it comes to indulging in a shopping experience. Nottinghamshire County Show is a fabulous day out with the family!
