Located at the end of a long private drive this cottage is found at the heart of Bodmin Moor home to miles of wonderful walks and a variety of plant and wildlife. It is situated halfway between the towns of Bodmin and Launceston two market towns where there is a choice of shops restaurants pubs and supermarkets. There are a number of popular attractions within easy reach of the property including the historic Jamaica Inn The Eden Project and the traditional fishing village of Looe. The nearest beach is 19 miles away at Port Isaac while the sandy beaches of Polzeath and Newquay are also within an hour s drive. This property has been lovingly restored throughout and though it features many modern conveniences it still boasts many original features such as solid oak floors slate window sills and exposed beams. On the ground floor of the property there is a lounge kitchen/diner and WC. The lounge is the heart of the home with the solid granite fireplace with wood burner being its central feature. There is plenty of comfortable furniture to relax on in here as well as a TV with Freeview and DVD. The kitchen/diner is extremely well-equipped with a wealth of appliances: an oven electric hob fridge freezer microwave dishwasher washer-dryer and wine cooler. On the first floor there are three bedrooms and a bathroom. The double bedroom also features an en-suite shower room with WC while there is also a king-size and a twin bedroom. On request the twin beds can be made into a zip-and-link king-size bed. In the bathroom you will find a shower over bath as well as a WC. Patio doors open the lounge out onto the enclosed garden which features both a patio and a lawn area. Relax on the garden furniture and dine al fresco with the provided BBQ on the patio and enjoy the far-reaching views enjoyed from the seating area on the lawn. Off-road parking for three cars is available.
