Here you can mess around in the boat on the river, row downstream to an excellent restaurant/pub, sip cocktails in the evening sun from a viewing area overlooking the river, while the children play table tennis in the games room, or simply relish the comfort and style of this quite exceptional property. Master bedroom with 6ft zip linked king bed (can be split into two 3ft single divans), under pitched panelled ceiling, fitted cupboards, floor to ceiling windows and door to paved area, the lawns and river. Adjacent shower room with power shower, basin and WC. Further bedroom with twin 3ft pine beds, large floor to ceiling windows under pitched roof and sturdy ladder steps up to mezzanine play area with satellite TV. Steps from the central hall up to two carpeted double bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with 3ft zip linked divans) both with fitted cupboards and views of the river through pretty leaded windows. Adjoining tiled bathroom with bath, hand-held shower attachment, basin and WC.
Outside:
The private drive runs along the riverside. A paved terrace in front of the house is amply provided with benches, tables and chairs, and the lawns run down to the waters edge. (Note: the riverbank is not fenced). A games room is situated in the grounds near the house and incorporates two old lime kilns, a tiled floor, table tennis and table football table. Fields and National Trust owned woods surround the house on three sides, a total of 15 acres to explore with a pathway up to a level viewing area. A small rowing boat with oars is provided and for use at own risk.
