The Royal Welsh Show is the biggest event of its kind in Britain. More than 200,000 people attended the event in 2011 and this year looks set to break this record number. This agricultural show is a real spectacle with four days of live music and aircraft shows, falconry and horse displays and of course livestock competitions.
You can safely say that there will be something for everyone at this show. If livestock shows aren’t your thing then the food stalls and sports displays could be? The showground at Llanelwed, close to Bulith Wells in picturesque Powys is the location of the festival and the scenery in this area is breathtaking. If you are looking for a destination for your UK staycation this year then consider this part of rural Wales for your holiday. To help you we have put together a shortlist of self-catering holiday lets close to the showground.
